Nightwaves by Mr B Productions/Anthony Butler and Aqualise will be screened as part of the London Surf Film Festival line-up and the winner of Shortie of the Year will be crowned during the official awards ceremony on the evening of Saturday 15th October 2011. This is fantastic, It's such a great festival, we are very happy to be part of it. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who voted for us... ♥
A great collaboration between Anthony Butler/Mr B Productions and Aqualise. A mind-surfing experience to satisfy the soul. A simple display of respect for our incredible oceans.
Voting was so tight for the final slot that in the spirit of the festival, we have expanded the number of places available to ten. The above films are in no particular order and we will be announcing the dates and times they will be showing very shortly. (London Film / Surf Festival).
The Shorties is an annual film contest open exclusively to film makers from or based in Britain or Ireland. The Longlist of Shorties was announced 3rd September and 18 films progressed for the official shortlist selection process. Voting has been two tier: based on votes cast by the Screening Panel as well as votes cast by the public via a web-based poll. Voting ran online 3rd - 16th September.
The winner of Shortie of the Year will be crowned during the official awards ceremony on the evening of Saturday 15th October 2011.
